Logos can be, and consequently are used for many purposes. Some of these purposes include improving a company image, as well as improving consumers and web site traffic. Many different and creative techniques are used to create such effects as 3D or animation. Fonts are an important part of logo creation. Fonts can be specially created for the logo, or, in most cases, can be used in or taken from a font directory. Fonts can range far and wide, from small print to large, cursive to block letters, etc… Fonts represent the title of your company or website, and can be used for a company motto. Apart from fonts, the background of your logo matters greatly. You want the background colors of your logo to fit in with the product, service, or website you are representing. Say your site has a black and white background. You would want your logo to be made with a black or white background, or maybe a swirl of both. Adding in colors will not hurt your logo, but you don’t want too many colors because that could screw up your company or website image. Lastly, your design should be made with creativity in mind. You want your internet logo to be unique, and not like everybody else’s. A unique logo on your site will stand out, in a good way. And also, don’t overdue it if you request, or design, an animated logo. Too much animation can be a bother, and you don’t want your visitors leaving because of a flashy, annoying logo.
