Logos can be seen everywhere you go. You pass them on the street, all over the Internet, and throughout the TV. Every successful company has a logo. Take a look; Starbucks logo, McDonalds logo, all successful companies and online websites. Logos are used in a way similar to a catch-line. Companies want their name, and image, to be recognizable throughout as many people as possible. Logos can be quite affordable and greatly improve your sites image among other sites. Your image speaks for the way your company functions. A logo stimulates a customer’s brain. If this logo is designed well, the customer will likely be interested in what the company/site has to offer. On the other site, if the logo is poorly designed, the customer will likely see your site is cheap, and in due course, leave.
You may be stuck on who to go with, and what to ask and pay them. Follow the next steps recommended, and you will have a good logo in no time!
1) Design. Take a look at the site that you have. Is the design mainly light colors? Or is it darker colors? Have your logo created accordingly to how your site design is. If you site design is colorful, have your logo be made full of color and creativity.
2) Cost. Do some research; don’t let somebody rip you off for a logo. Compare prices with companies, and don’t always go with the most expensive thinking they will create the best. Take a look at logos the company or person has created. Look at the ones you like, and go by that. Again, there are many scams out there. Don’t pay too much for a logo; paying too little should not be a problem.
3) Effectiveness. You want a logo that appeals to your visitors. Remember the first tip; you want a design which is effectively blending in with the rest of your website. You want your logo to brand recognition and have the logo to identify with the message, or product, you are attempting to get through to the public. Different colors in your logo affect, subconsciously, a persons mind. Red colors are generally used for alert a persons mind. Part of the reason stop lights, and stop signs are red. Blue can be associated with lightness and relaxation as well as weightlessness. Remember, design and color matter in the effectivity of your logo.
To summarize it all up, logos have greatly benefited many companies. Take a look at the Apple Company. Steve Jobs (top shareholder) has gone out of his mind attempting to create logo recognition. He wants, as many other companies do, for his consumers to instantly recognize the Apple logo. Hence the reason all TV advertisements end with the Apple logo, as well as posters, and all products have this logo. Similarly does this apply with all other successful companies. Not one successful website will you ever visit which does not have a witty and fashionable logo.
